Get your friends and family together and let them all know when your soldiers birthday is coming up. This way to can get as many people as possible to send lots of birthday wishes to your soldier so they will know how much they are missed and their birthday was not forgotten!
Send a birthday party in a box. Create a themed party with noise makers, balloons, party hats, place settings and goody bags for about 10 people. Valentines Day
Take an article of your clothing your wardrobe, preferably one that is a favorite to your Soldier. Take this article of clothing and cover it in your cologne/perfume and send it to your Soldier. It will be a sweet reminder of you and one they will be able to hold onto until they return home to you!
Create a notebook for your Soldier. In it write your Soldier love letters and poems. You can also write to them about how you are proud they are serving their county and then pick a date that you will celebrate valentines day when they return! You can also fill your notebook with fond memories you have had together.
Make your Soldier a collage of pictures of the two of you. You can also use magazine clippings to make up words or phrases that represent your relationship. For the girls, add a more personal touch and fill the blank spaces by applying some lip stick and giving the collage a kiss!
Record a video or just your voice and talk about how much you miss your Soldier this Valentines Day and how you want to celebrate the next Valentines Day with them!
Decorate a basket with St. Patty's Day colors, ribbons and lucky charms. Then, in the basket put all kinds of Irish treats and goodies.
Cookies! Go to any store and pick up a green St. Patty's Day hat. Then go to work at baking all kinds of St. Patty's Day themed cookies. Decorate them however you want for your soldier. Once they are finished, use the hat as a basket for the cookies and ship them out!
Its always a must to put together an Easter basket full of candy! You can really get creative with this. Some stores even carry camouflage plastic Easter eggs to give it that personal military touch. Fill the basket not only with candy, but with pictures from home and small items your soldier may need such as hand warmers.
Create a 4th of July photo frame and decorate it with lots of red, white and blue. Then, get your family, friends and pets together dressed in their patriotic gear and get the perfect picture for your soldier.
Create a chain of red, white and blue stars. One each one, write why your soldier is your hero or why you are proud of them for what they do. It will be a great reminder of why we love them for doing their job as well as a decoration for their room.
Send your soldier 'Halloween in a Box'. Send lots of candy in one of the big orange pumpkin baskets! In addition to all sorts of candy and treats, send decoration that the soldiers can put up around their living space. The spider webs we all see at Halloween are a great idea because they are easy to hang.
Get a piece of poster board and draw a bunch of turkeys using your hand to draw the body. On each turkey, write why you are thankful for your soldier or why you are thankful for what they are doing for our country.
Send food items in a Thanksgiving theme so they can still have a Thanksgiving meal. Include items like beef jerky, instant mashed potatoes, instant gravy, and of course add a pie for dessert!
Create a football game day package. Include items like a football, peanuts, chips and their favorite teams current stats or roster. Be sure to include any sports gear from their favorite football team like a team flag or jersey.

Be sure to pack fun ornaments that can be hung on the tree. If you got your soldier any small gifts for Christmas, wrap them up and write a note saying to put these gifts under the tree and they are not to be opened until Christmas morning!
Make ornaments for your soldier that have a personal touch. Decorate Christmas balls with motivating quotes. Create ornaments that have pictures of family, friend and pets on them!
Create and advent calendar with any theme you want. It could be a religious, motivation or Christmas spirit theme. Behind each calendar day put pictures, quotes or any message you want to send to your soldier to let them know how much they are missed during the holidays.
Send your soldier items that are holiday scented! This way their living area will be filled with scents of Christmas and home! Please note that you cannot send candles but the scented pine cones are always a good idea.
