Hey i just wanted to say thanks!! Your website helped me a lot. This is the first deployment he has gone on and its only ben three months but I have to admit sending him packages makes time go by a little faster and espically when I hear that he gets them and shares them with the guys out there that dont get packages! THANKS SO MUCH!!

You have a wonderful site full of creative ideas. Making care packages is my connection with my husband while he's deployed - my therapy! Thank you for offering such great suggestions.

Found your site while looking for care package ideas... I think youre doin a great job here... looks like a fairly new site!!! Keep it growing!! If you can, you should add a list of web sites people can go to sign up to adopt a soldier...

Great Site! Thanks for listing the special care packages. We are supporting our co-worker's daughter who is serving right now. It's especially nice to see the ideas for the women serving. I'd like to see supportive poems or quotes that we could send to the soldiers along with the care packages.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful tips and ideas with everyone. Each time my husband was deployed which has been numerous I made sure that when I sent care packages to him I included items to other Soldiers in his unit as well.

Abby, my nephew is deployed in Iraq and this site is very helpful in knowing what our soldiers can use. Dad is getting the word out to the Lion Clubs and all the best to Scott from Lindecamp Lane.

Abby, this is a wonderful thing to do. My husband and I are going through our first deployment. He is currently in Afghanistan and you had some really great ideas for the care packages. I really appreciate everyone who still cares about the soldiers fighting for our country. Love to all. Jessica Moore

Abby!! This web site is so wonderful I work for the Armed Service YMCA and I am passing this on to the 2500+ YMCAs in the United States to use as a reference for care packages. WE have a great program going on to help deployed guardsmen and national guardsmens families get memberships to the Y for free - since they have little support network out there.. So I am sending this to all of the YMCA's participating to help spread the word and get more care packages sent over for our troops. I am a military wife for 18+ plus years and deployments are hard enough for the soldier - not to mention the families left behind. Thanks for the web site and I hope the best everyone who visits this web page.

This is a great site. This is my first tour with my boyfriend in Iraq (his second.) I didnt realize it takes so long to get shipments over there. I know for the future.

Great site Abby! I got a few great ideas for Ryan & his buddies packages. Just in case everyone isn't aware of it, if you use a larger box instead of the small flat rate USPS boxes, they will only charge you domestic rate. This is a huge savings. But be sure to mention it to the USPS clerk.

What a wonderful website! My son was recently deployed to Iraq and I was looking for ideas of things to send to him when I stumbled on this site. You have some great ideas here to help make the deployment better for both the soldiers and their families.

I am looking for an address to send a care package overseas. Where do I adopt a soldier or where can I find an organization that I can sigh up and send a package myself. I want to do my part for the troops.
